homemade error 8541
I'm trying to add my first item for sale under homemade, but everytime I try to add something, I'm getting the 8541 error about the same brand, which I have nothing that matches it.
The error is 8541: The value 'Generic' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'Krishna' for ASIN 'B00SDMHBLI' in the Amazon catalog. If this is ASIN 'B00SDMHBLI', update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc.).
I also get this error in other locations, no matter what I change things to. Ie Manufacturer, Part Number?

The UPC being used is what is connecting the other item already in Amazon.
Did you purchase your UPC through GS1?
Someone may have used the UPC before (black hat listing) and, until now, it has worked for them.
If you did not purchase your UPC through GS1, then doing so will be your first step to getting your listing through.
You are in the Homemade group and that group has some special parameters available to them which we do not know. You might search within that group on NSFE and see if there are other threads which might provide more input for you.
