International Return Policy | Clarification question
I have question regarding International Return Policy, so I was able to find this information regarding returns policy for international sellers.
International Return Policy
If you order from a third-party seller who ships their items from a location outside of Germany, you should be aware that Amazon’s Return Policy requires that international Marketplace sellers either:
Provide a return address within Germany,
Provide a prepaid return label, or
Offer a full refund without requesting the return of items.
If a seller doesn’t abide by this policy on an order you returned you can, subject to certain conditions, file an guarantee claim. To learn more about them, go to the A-to-z Guarantee page
My main question is about - who pays for return if we have return address in Germany? Does customer pays for return? Or seller?
This question appears because we are international seller outside the Germany and at this stage we provide our customer with free return label (it's fully paid from our side). But now we have warehouse address in Germany where we can accept customer returns locally.
So, the question is - if we have local address in Germany where customer can return the order, who is paying for return shipment? Is it customer? Or seller?
If it's paid by buyer - do we need to refund them postage costs which he paid for item to be delivered in our warehouse in Germany.
Please advise me with correct information as it's important question we need answer for. I just want to minimize return costs.
Kind regards,
Xjeans

I assume you sell clothing. When clothing is returned, the seller generally pays!
