Open Orders Not Posting.
We recently received an order that did not show up in our "Open Orders" and we almost lost the sale. If it wasn't for a notification that the order was in danger of being cancelled, we would not have been able to complete the customer order. We had to manually search for the order number given in the warning notification to find it and process the shipment.
Who do I need to speak with to fix the issue?

What to fix?
If you change the date range, it will show also older orders that were not shipped.

Does not take more time than checking your emails.....and don't forget to check the spam folder also.

What SHAHAR said, if you keep your filter set to just a few days, it is possible that an order was pending for longer than your filter date range was set for. Once the order cleared pending it wouldn't have shown in your orders awaiting shipment. I keep my filter set to at least 14 days.

Lots more pending status orders the past month or so, and they aren't being put back in active inventory qty if unpaid.
