overseas buyers with first name only (one name)
We are constantly getting orders to france, germany etc (EU) where the customer has only got one name on their amazon account. We can't ship these orders (we are based in the (UK) because they will almost always get returned to us marked as couldn't identify recipient. We use royal mail international.
We then have to message the customers and ask them to provide their full name, sometimes this works but often they don't see the message and so the order gets delayed or cancelled if they don't respond in time.
Surely it can't just be us who faces this issue, amazon needs to make it mandatory for the full recipient name to be available to sellers.
How do we get around this?

You can usually find the full name under Order Reports - Unshipped Orders.
