2 ASINs merged by Amazon that are different products
Yesterday we had 2 ASIN merged (B0CL9Z2ZXR, B0CL9XH375)
They are different products - 8 different cards in each pack. They may look similar but they are different.
We have used the self service ASIN unmerge tool, that created a case where we have been told 4 times now that the products are the same and can't be unmerged. They can see the 2 different sets of cards in the photos provided. Phone support also no help either. It seems like no matter what we say the answer is NO!
We are seriously concerned about our customers (you'd think Amazon would be concerned too) getting the wrong products and the implications on our account health.
Can any of the mods help? @Jessicamod_Amazon @Winston_Amazon @Maja_Amazon
Has anyone else had this issue? How was it resolved?
Thank you in advance.

Oh the case ID is 9204211432
In the meantime, we are going to update the remaining ASIN to say that the customer will receive one of the 8 packs at random.

amazon have been doing this all o ver the place been driving me crazy!! and another special is they are merging children to totally different parents. so have to delete both parents and then redo listing and add children on again. losing battle ss dont care, amazon do what they want its their platform.

It is AI doing this - SS can't do a thing to sort it out neither can anyone else at Amazon. We are currently going round in circles with one at the moment. The AI has even lifted an old image - deleted 4 years ago - and replaced the one we were using with it. As this has a tag on it it is not allowed (which is why we changed it) - we can't change that image due to issues with the variations. Round and round we go - eventually it will have to be deleted I suppose - another one into the ever growing graveyard of previously successful listings.
