Unable to Change Business Country Of Establishment - INFORM ACT
Hi,
I'm facing an issue with updating my business information on Amazon and need some guidance. Recently, I've submitted the details added in "Legal Entity" section for verification & found out that my personal details are displaying there instead of "Business Information". However, I'm unable to update my country of establishment from my original country to the United States in the Seller Central account. The Business location window is inactive and shows my original country locked as the only option.
I have opened two cases with the seller support but haven't received any response yet. This situation has become urgent as I've received a notification about the risk of account deactivation due to the Consumer Information Act re-verification, which I can't complete due to this issue.
Has anyone here encountered a similar problem? Any advice on how to get this resolved or how to expedite my support cases would be greatly appreciated.

Yes.
I began my seller account with USA as the country of establishment.
I then opted to open an LTD in the United Kingdom as a non-resident. I needed to change my country of establishment.
Like you, I posted on the forums and received no answer. After a ton of trial and error, I uncovered that I had to open a second account with a new email address. This was immediately denied but then I reached out to seller support via the second account and they said my second account was denied because I have multiple accounts. I gave them the merchant ID and email of the original account and told them I am very aware that I have multiple accounts and I have a legitimate business need to open a second account as I need to change my country of establishment. They allowed me to create the second account.
I activated the second account and, when I needed to send an FBA replenishment, I sent it to the second account and slowly let my inventory run out of my first account.
I only use the second account now. I still have the first one but its just dormant. I did not need to close it down.
