Account Deactivation IP Policy Violation
Hi all,
So just some context in regards to my suspension: My account was deactivated due to a IP policy violation on August 1st. I purchased my product from a reputable toy distributor in the UK (NDA Toys) and was selling it for a month with no issues, then out of nowhere my account was suspended. As I was purchasing from NDA, at the time I felt I had done nothing wrong and there must've been a mistake so I sent my appeal off stating my goods were authentic etc and attached a invoice from my supplier.(Upon reflecting back on it, I responded as quick as I could on emotion and now realize it would've been best to send a POA) A couple of days later this was rejected and I received the response:
'We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account. Since you were unable to provide sufficient and required information in the appeal submitted, we decided that you may no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk.'
I spoke to seller support quite regularly over the next week or so and they explained that a letter of authorization was required from the distributor/brand and my appeal can still get my account unsuspended as long as my POA is submitted with the correct information.
So I submitted my POA, detailed my plan in bullet points and made sure it was concise with the details required and took the relevant action needed. Obtained a letter of authorization from the distributor and attached with the invoice from the distributor too. I also reviewed my POA with seller support to ensure it had everything they needed, which they agreed.
They told me this could take up to 7 days (still no response), then followed up and they said 2 weeks (again no response), which they then said it could take a month. We have now approached a month and I am yet to hear back, and am quite concerned now as I feel I can't get any further with it anymore.
My questions in regards to this are:
1) Has anyone who's been in a similar situation share their experience on this and if their appeal was successful?
2) How long can Amazon take to review my appeal as it has been over a month now?
3) I know Amazon can't give full details into investigations but does anyone know how this could've been flagged up in the first place?
4) Does calling seller support really put your appeal to the back of queue and increase the delay in it getting reviewed?
Any responses and additional guidance would be appreciated greatly.
