Generic Keyword Field Bug
I have seen a number of topics on the Generic Keyword field in Seller Central not saving fields 2-5 when you attempt to add more than 1 field to add Generic Keywords. However, I have yet to see any moderators actually explain what is going here, why these fields won't save, and when this will be fixed. I keep seeing moderators ask for case IDs, but none of them every follow up on the thread from what I can see. The canned response provided by Seller Support that have been sited are also not relevant. This is not a cookies issue, this is not a process issue, and this is not a brand ownership issue. This is a bug and some clarity on this would very much be appreciated. All of the threads are locked, so unfortunately I am unable to ask the moderators to update with an actual answer to what is going on.

Hello @Seller_XiA0SI30Slolw,
Michelle at Amazon here. About a year ago, Amazon reduced the number of keyword fields from 5 to 1, so you should only be adding your keywords to the first line. Per our help page, the information was updated and and informs you of this information.
Why is there only one field for search terms?
The field for search terms was reduced from five fields to one field to improve the quality of Amazon search results and reduce the amount of superfluous search terms. The reduced quota of search terms helps you focus on only using relevant words to describe your products.
If you are entering on more than one line or going over the allowed number of bytes, that would be why the information is not saving.
I hope this is helpful!

The fields for search terms have been DRASTICALLY reduced in the last year with no information (that I saw) disseminated AT ALL. My category is Beauty.
I had many fields populated with awesome search terms and it made a huge difference in my business. As Amazon migrates all my ASINs - removing fields, disconnecting reviews, destroying sales ranking - I can watch previously successful SKUs degrade to zero sales. These migrations are done without any notice.
The Ingredients field format was changed without notice. the Thesaurus field is now named Item Form which is a duplicate of the previously existing Item Form field.
Typical sloppy, destructive, and business crushing move that I have to discover on my own (edit) because there is no communication. This is what happens when technology becomes more important than reality.
The fields that used to be available for search terms and are no longer available are
