Compensation for lost package
Guys, this is a question, I hope someone has a solution to the problem.
I do homemade customized work and send orders myself via USPS or UPS. In the case of package delivery, there are no problems, but if the package stops at some point and the tracking stops and the package is not delivered on time, then the buyer immediately opens the case and, according to Amazon rules, I must return the full amount.
Now I want to take compensation from the USPS office for the loss of the package and I have to open a case to search for the package and according to their rules I have to indicate the full address of the recipient, but after the label from Amazon is printed the full address is hidden and I can only see the city, state and zip code recipient, but I need the full address.
So the question itself is, where can I get the full address of the recipient?
I tried to ask a question to the Amazon support service, but they ask for the order number, I try to explain that my question is not about specific order numbers, but a general question, but there seems to be no answer and they simply unsubscribe with some kind of nonsense. I tried calling the support service, but after explaining the problem, the operator switches to the next operator, says this is the wrong department and I have to explain the problem to the next one... turned off the phone after the fifth operator.
What solution?

The solution is that you need to have your own system to alleviate these issues. Amazon will not disclose buyer information.

If you purchased the shipping label through Amazon and shipped on time, you should not refund the buyer and instead instruct them to file an A-Z claim which Amazon will then pay for and it won't count against your metrics. Short of that, if you didn't use Amazon Buy shipping and thus need to refund the buyer and file a claim, then to get the address to file the claim, or to do a package search, you can go to the order and reprint the label to get the address. If it has been over 15 days, though, you don't have to open a search request with the USPS, you can just go straight to the claim process and indicate that the package is lost.

We print two copies of the customer invoice from amazon. One goes in the box as required and one gets filed in case we need that information later.
