Payouts goes lower

Hey everyone, so here is some weird thing. The more i sell the lower goes the payouts?

Sold for a large amount already, I have no refunds, all shipped on time, no pending cases..

So I don't understand why the payouts goes lower for each order that comes in..

if you do fbm, you can see the fees, charges, and the profit from that sale by the email notification of ‘sold, ship now.’

Then you can deduct the expenses or your costs for that sale plus any incurring expenses of shipping cost.

Check those emails to see where you are standing up.

New sellers - not offense- tends to overlook some of the costs involve selling online: fees, shipping charges and materials.

Look at payment report as well to see if carriers are charging you more for the items sent or possible deductions from amazon.

*for fba, not sure how to look for the expenses involved.

Good luck,

On the menu on Seller Central, go to Reports>Payments, then select Transaction View. That should give you an idea of what is happening.

Also check your "Reserve" level; if you are a new seller, or if you have recently sold more than typical, it is quite normal that Amazon will hold back a larger amount of your payout to cover any potential issues with returns or other complaints.

Other possibilities include that your pricing is too low to cover all the fees plus postage. The transaction detail should help you figure out if there are costs you did not account for when setting your pricing.

It is really weird.

One day it says xx.xx x next hour it says 0. Then two hours later it says xx.x xx$

So it's difficult to know what to expect.

There is no negative reason why..

Only thing is new seller on Canada marked.

My revenue is higher than the costs to amazon. I'm using FBM

Hello @Seller_NAWdZDxVTImD4,

Thank you for your post. As some of the sellers on the thread have mentioned, you can look at the transactional views in payment reports.

On the menu on Seller Central, go to Reports>Payments, then select Transaction View. I have also link some resources for all things payment related here. This should be able to get you the answers you seek.

If in fact you feel that there was an error, please feel free to open a seller support case for additional help.

Cheers,

Micah
