What the heck is happening with coupons?
every time I create a coupon, it shows for a few hours then it disappears and on the coupon page it says "needs attention". I asked seller support and they said because my discount is not deep enough! I mean what the hell amazon? I should be able to decide how much discount I am willing to give. they want every discount to be lower than the previous one. let's say my listing price is $100 and I put a sale price of $90 for a limited time. a month after the sale is over, I wanted to add a coupon for 5%. amazon will not allow me to add the coupon unless it drops the price at least 5% below the $90 price that I stopped over a month ago! it's unreal, I feel this is the last straw. Amazon is doing everything in its power to make the seller's life a living hell!

You have encountered a pricing change we made in regard to coupons. Please see the following posted news story about New coupon pricing requirements.
We are not doing everything in our power to make your life harder. If a product's price or discount doesn't meet requirements, it won't be eligible for a coupon until all requirements have been met.

Exactly! I have been back and forth with Seller Support dozens of times and they are clueless and not helpful at all. Some of our coupons run just fine and others are suppressed. Even if I try to run one at my last large coupon amount, it still suppresses. Didn't even think about needing to go bigger than my last large coupon. That doesn't even make sense profit-wise. It is our stuff and our prices and our discounts. Amazon should not be dictating the amount of our coupons and requiring larger and larger discounts be offered. Ridiculous.
