The Name and Tax ID provided do not match IRS records.
I've been trying to submit my newly incorporated company's EIN but I keep getting the following error:
The Name and Tax ID provided do not match IRS records. Please review your previous inputs and ensure the "Name" line is the correct name associated with the Tax ID provided. You should complete the tax information for the individual or business that will report the income on a U.S. income tax return. If you are completing the tax interview on behalf of a single member LLC, generally the owner’s Name and Tax ID would be provided.
I've contacted seller support but instead of looking into the problem, they have simply sent me the instructions about how to submit my tax information. I don't need these steps, I already know hoe to submit my tax info.
All I need is help. I want someone to look into this matter because I've been entering the correct EIN number and company name but not sure why Amazon isn't accepting it.
I've shared a screenshot of the error and also a copy of my EIN SS4 form with the seller support but they haven't been of any help. My Case ID is 15881004291

My name is CR and wanted to hop in here quickly. While I cannot provide tax advice and do not have access to your forms I wanted to see if you could check on one thing for me here.
In the field that says "Full name" you should not be putting your actual name there, but rather your business name there associated with your LLC.
This is a commonly overlooked so thought I would see if you could check this first.
