Amazon is charging me illegally
Has anyone had a similar problem? I've been in the handmade zone for a year, and Amazon has been charging me for the professional plan every month, even though I should have it free. I received a letter from Amazon stating that my account was verified and that I'm in the handmade zone and have the professional plan for free, yet they still won't refund my money when I request a refund. It's been like this for 11 months. Do these requests actually get processed by a human? It's so simple, I can't believe it's taking so long. To make matters worse, I have to delete my store to block these charges because, as I'm in the handmade category, I'm automatically assigned a professional plan. It can't be disabled.
I'm very disappointed with how Amazon is cheating and contradicting itself – you get the plan for free because you're a craftsman, but we won't refund you, and we're charging you a new subscription fee every month.
Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this? Amazon Handmade Germany.
Should I complain to the consumer ombudsman or write directly to their German headquarters? I think no one will do it online because the applications are reviewed by a robot, not a human.
