Amazon stopped sending Seller Tax Invoice Document
We used to be able to get our Seller Tax Invoices and submit them as expenses for our business which is located in Europe.
But since November, we have not received an invoice. I contacted support but they were no help…They said that because I had submitted my VAT number, these invoices were not expected. How does that even make sense?
Anyways, I think the support does not understand my issue and hoped someone from the community would know. This is really important because we can’t justify our Amazon expenses which are high and all the revenue is considered as profit which is not true!

Hi @Seller_JtdRRxhJdmlgD
I think the 'EU Value Added Tax (VAT) frequently asked questions' help page explains what's happening (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201748700).
According to the "Why did I not receive an EU VAT tax invoice?" section, once you provide a valid EU VAT registration number, Amazon stops sending VAT invoices because they're no longer charging you EU VAT on your fees.
This makes sense because the help page explains that Amazon only calculates and collects EU VAT on fees from sellers who meet all three of these conditions:
- Do not have an EU VAT registration number
- Are EU residents
- Sell on a non-EU website
For your business expense documentation, you can still:
- Access your fee information in Order Details
- Find your records in Seller Central > Reports > Tax Document Library > Seller Fee Tax Invoices
- Note that according to the help page, sales to VAT-registered sellers "may be subject to EU VAT collection under a reverse charge mechanism"
I hope this helps.
Kind regards, Michael

The issue is the they have not created any seller tax invoices since November. We used to receive them regularly but now we do not receive them and as a result we can’t justify our expenses on Amazon.
I was hoping an Amazon representative could help me with this issue

I have the same issue!
There ARE NO records in Seller Central > Reports > Tax Document Library > Seller Fee Tax Invoices since November!
This is very urgent! We sellers from Europe really need the Seller Fee Tax Invoices to document our business expense documentation.
Can anyone help with this problem, please???

Hello @Seller_i6S8knzW6zU6Zand thank you for trying to help.
Unfortunately I have the same problem as @Seller_JtdRRxhJdmlgD
Amazon stopped providing invoices for the seller fee taxes with the collected VAT for the seller fees in Seller Central > Reports > Tax Document Library > Seller Fee Tax Invoices. The last invoice that I got is from October 2024. November and December 2024 are missing and Iused to get every invoice for every month until October 2024 even though I've had my VAT registration number provided since 2023 when I started on Amazon.
I see that you are from Germany too just like me and that is giving me hope that you can understand my problem that we have to provide valid invoices for the seller fees for the german tax office (Finanzamt). If we can't provide valid invoices for our expenses we won't have a valid business expense documentation and all the revenue will be considered as profit by the tax office, just like @Seller_JtdRRxhJdmlgDsaid. In that case I personally, would have to stop selling on Amazon.com.
It is not true that Amazon is only obligated to provide valid invoices for the seller fees with listed taxes if the seller meets all of your listed three conditions. Amazon is always obligated to provide valid invoices for their seller fees regardless if the seller has a VAT registration number or not. If Amazon fails to provide valid invoices it will violate applicable law at least in Germany.
Since you @Seller_i6S8knzW6zU6Zseem to be from Germany too you might know how to provide a valid expense documentation without these invoices in Germany?
Your suggestion was to look at Seller Central > Reports > Tax Document Library > Seller Fee Tax Invoices but that is exactly the problem. The invoices are missing here.
May I ask how do you provide valid evidence for the seller fees if not with these invoices? Is there a different way?
Just like Seller_GR I have tried to contact Seller Support about this but of course they weren't helpful. They kept directing me to the transaction view and the CSV file with the listed seller fees for each sale but a CSV file IS NOT A VALID EVIDENCE FOR BUSINESS EXPENCES IN GERMANY! Can someone from Amazon help with this issue pretty please???? @Connor_Amazon
