Optimal Image Size
Amazon provides guidelines for image sizes, which we follow (even going with JPG type as recommended).
But we noticed that while our images show up fine on our product page, our competitor's images are larger. I take this to mean that even though there are ranges for images that work on Amazon, there is an "optimal" image size that Amazon will make larger on the page.
Does anyone know this "optimal" image size and why is it kept a secret on Amazon's guidelines?

Hello @Seller_nBbwQTZ5NsRcM,
Thanks for posting here. As mentioned in case 16533414061, Amazon recommends providing high-quality images for your product listings. While 1600 x 1600 pixels is acceptable, Amazon actually allows and encourages even larger images. The maximum size for product images is 10,000 x 10,000 pixels. Larger, higher resolution images can potentially display better on different devices and allow customers to zoom in for more detail.
You will find specific details about this in the Product image requirements page.
