Seller Central is an Abolute Waste of TIme

I received notice that Amazon gave a customer a refund for a product because it was not as described. In looking at this order, the customer has purchased this product many, many times over a long period of time. I contacted seller support to state that I expect this unit to be returned and/or Amazon to pay for this refund since clearly the reason for the refund is bogus. Seller Central told me the order is over 18 months old so there is nothing they can do. I sent a screenshot showing the order was placed 2 weeks ago. They insist it is 18 months old. How is it that as the seller and owner of the inventory, I can't see that the order is over 18 months old? And, if it is, why is Amazon giving a refund for it now? Both extremely legitimate questions. Why as sellers do we have to waste so much time on these nonsense exercises? On no other platform do I have these issues that seem to be never ending on Amazon.
