Is it possible to change the brand of an active listing?

We decided to make a total rebranding on our brand because the logo and the name does not fit the targeted audience and the type of product we sell. Is it possible to change the brand on an active listing? I do not want to start from scratch because the product already have a good ranking in the niche and we invested a lot in ads for it.

Thank you :)

Unfortunately, it is against Amazon's brand name policy to change the brand name on a listing after it is created with the only exception being to fix a small typo, so you would need to create a new listing if you want to use the new brand name.

Hello @Seller_3W1Ke9NqfBS5C,

Michelle at Amazon here. I understand that you would like to rebrand your product. As @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD has stated, this is not possible and goes against Amazon's policies.

Product Detail Page Rules states:

If you choose to re-brand a product, please refer to Amazon Brand Name Policy page for minor Brand name changes. Any major Brand Name change requests are considered re-branding and will not be supported. To protect Customer trust and ensure catalog quality, we ask that you create a new ASIN for the new product.

For minor edits, it would be for capitalization corrections or spelling errors.

I hope this information is helpful and wish you the best with your new brand!

Regards,

Michelle
