Shipment In Transit for 3 months

A shipment was sent to Amazon on June 19th, 2024, and it is now nearly three months overdue. The tracking information shows the shipment has not moved, and the UPS website indicates the package is delayed.

We were previously informed that an investigation could begin on September 6th, 2024, but we are now surprised to see the date pushed to October 17th, 2024. This delay is significantly affecting our operations, as we have incurred losses due to missing products and the impact on our storage capacity.

We contacted the support team and the only answer we received was to keep waiting.

Could you tell us to which warehouse it was sent? Unfortunately the shipping plan gives sometimes destinations for warehouses that are NOT YET opened.

We've had very similar issues in the UK and Germany!! Currently, the US seems ok for us. Not sure how long for though...

Germany, it transpired that the fulfilment center was full! Amazon of course would not tell us this, they just said it was "in transit". We found out from the hauler that each day they were arranging an appointment at the FC, arriving and being turned away because it was full! After a month our shipment eventually got delivered! We attempted to raise a second shipment and the same FC appeared!!!

UK is a huge mess! Our shipments are taking twice as long to check in. Several shipments have part checked in and closed. When we send all the requested documentation (purchase orders, POD's etc) to raise investigations, Amazon state that it's invalid?! Then we receive conflicting information in the next reply! For one of our best selling products they then decided to transfer all the inventory! Allegedly to make it "closer to the customer"!? - The UK is a small island and this was at a centrally located FC and why move all stock?! A month on, it is still being "transferred". However on Amazon it shows as purchasable! Loads of FBA orders have been cancelled for this item, because they are not being shipped! I did a test order and each day the item is supposedly being delivered, the expected date moves!!

God knows what's going on with Amazon. Seller support is useless! It's generic responses based off keywords and nothing is ever "escalated", like they make out! You just go round in circles each time with a different response. They are some helpful associates, but it's rare and very lucky if you get them!

Amazon don't deserve their success, especially when they have the cheek to increase fees and deliver less of an already poor service!

Rant over! I hope they successfully check your shipment in soon! :)

I used to have the same issue. Even after the Asin was run out of stock, the stock was still in transit. I contacted Amazon support team and found that the stock was in the supplement FCs where the stock can't be sold and the stock must be transit to standard FCs to be able to sell. They told me to wait 5 days to process, but finally I waited 15 days.

Germany, it transpired that the fulfilment center was full! Amazon of course would not tell us this, they just said it was "in transit". We found out from the hauler that each day they were arranging an appointment at the FC, arriving and being turned away because it was full! After a month our shipment eventually got delivered! We attempted to raise a second shipment and the same FC appeared!!!

UK is a huge mess! Our shipments are taking twice as long to check in. Several shipments have part checked in and closed. When we send all the requested documentation (purchase orders, POD's etc) to raise investigations, Amazon state that it's invalid?! Then we receive conflicting information in the next reply! For one of our best selling products they then decided to transfer all the inventory! Allegedly to make it "closer to the customer"!? - The UK is a small island and this was at a centrally located FC and why move all stock?! A month on, it is still being "transferred". However on Amazon it shows as purchasable! Loads of FBA orders have been cancelled for this item, because they are not being shipped! I did a test order and each day the item is supposedly being delivered, the expected date moves!!

God knows what's going on with Amazon. Seller support is useless! It's generic responses based off keywords and nothing is ever "escalated", like they make out! You just go round in circles each time with a different response. They are some helpful associates, but it's rare and very lucky if you get them!

Amazon don't deserve their success, especially when they have the cheek to increase fees and deliver less of an already poor service!
