Amazon Incorrectly Flagging My Individual Seller Account as Business
I'm facing a frustrating issue with Amazon Seller Wallet verification. Despite registering as an individual seller, Amazon has suspended my Seller Wallet verification claiming my "account is being used for commercial or business purposes."
The problems:
- Amazon Seller Wallet team has blocked my verification
- They claim I'm operating as a business (I'm not)
- They want me to change to a business registration
- During INFORM ACT interview, I clearly selected "individual seller"
Their message states:
"We have identified that your account is being used for commercial or business purposes. Therefore, we will not be able to continue with the verification of your Seller Wallet account."
I've already appealed explaining I'm an individual seller responsible for my own tax liabilities, not a business owner. I've offered to provide any documentation needed to prove my individual status.
Has anyone else experienced this incorrect classification? Any advice on getting this resolved quickly?

As an individual seller such as Single Member LLC or a Sole Proprietor of course you are acting as a business owner and you do this for commercial purposes. Don't you want to make money on Amazon?
Or do you confound this with the "Individual selling plan" (-.99/unit sold) and the "Professional selling plan" ($ 39.99/month)? Seller wallet is certainly NOT talking about your selling program but about your Tax Information.
Copy and paste here the EXACT sentence where they say this. I don't understand what is meant.

I am sorry for having answered above. Just ignore it like you ignored all my previous answers in your previous threads. I should have remembered you and I should have known that you don't listen to what you are being told. In a previous thread you posted a screenshot showing that YOU mistakenly created your seller account as Business and not as Individual. That choice can NOT and NEVER be undone.
My last and ultimate advice: if you want to act as an Individual OWNING a business, you have to properly close that account and create a new one with another email address. Choosing "Individual" and not "Business".....
