FBA inbound shippings taking a lot longer to receive than usual?
Just wanted to check if we weren't alone on this one. Not used to waiting over a month once things have been delivered---in March/April. Used to for October-December sure, but this--frustrating to say the least, especially when things are out of stock when they are just sitting there waiting to open up and be received, and the "low inventory fees" are coming soon!

Theyre smart, and its a bully tactic. Force a new 'fee', everyone sends in more inventory, everything gets backed up, and while your waiting for your inventory to be active that clock is ticking for those low inv. fees. More profits to charge on per item. Id buy stock now since Amazon is about to have crazy numbers coming up off the backs of sellers with all this new BS.

Indeed!
We have tens of thousands of units backed up, capital tied up, and sales dried up! Amazon, what's up???
I called Seller Support and they said that's nothing out of the ordinary, nothing to see here, just carry on.

its taking forever all my shipments too... had one out of stock that took one month to be avalaible and it was only 45 units plus other things together

You can ensure that if your inventory is low so that low inventory fees apply, your inventory will be slow walked. Now Amazon says it will take this into account with NO DEFINITION of what this means at all. Just another thing sellers have to chase down to get their money back. It will require 10 interactions with seller non-support. The frustrations mount on a daily basis.

There's a real argument to be made that the inbound fee and low inventory fee is going to end up doing the opposite effect that they want. Sending multiple shipments all over the place takes longer to sort, palletize and label. And having new LTL carriers picking up all of these shipments I'm noticing is taking weeks to get delivered. Impossible to keep inventory at the levels they want.
And I was thinking if we as sellers do a good job at keeping the right levels of inventory that is near customers. They should bring back the FBA multi unit discount if inventory for the order is near the customers and able to ship in the same box. But that is where Amazon really makes the profit. Multiple units in a order and delivered in the same box.

Hi @Seller_AvpXHoIZ1cxo8, what are the shipment IDs that you are having trouble with? Are your shipments going to the same FC?
Just to clarify -- Low-inventory-level fees incurred due to excessive inbounding and processing times caused by Amazon or Amazon-managed services will be credited back to you by the 15th day of the following month.
For example, May charges with excessive inbound delays will be credited back by June 15.
You can read over the updates to the low-inventory-level fee here. Let one of us know if you have questions!

@TaylorR_Amazon Sellers should not be getting charged... or Amazon should pay interest on the $$$ they are borrowing from us.
We should not get charged for it when AMZ has the inventory in their possession, period.

We will still need a definition of "excessive inbounding and processing." Without a definition this is not worth the paper it is written on.

And this is just for one ASIN. Over 25,000 units of which have been backed up for weeks. Showing 0 available even though In-Stock Head is active. This is just not acceptable.
All our best sellers are similarly affected. We had to lay off most of our employees. If Amazon is going to charge all these fees to maximize its profits and stock price, it'd better deliver performance on par with those fees. It can't charge the highest fees while providing the worst service. To top it off, Amazon did not send our biweekly payout last week and no one is getting back to us on that. It really does seem like Amazon wants to get rid of sellers. Where is the great relationship with sellers that Andy Jassy was gloating about?

Hi @Seller_svgavkSwEWnI7, I see that shipments FBA17TCXWPZP, FBA17TCW8P2M, and FBA17TCW3P6B are closed. You can request investigation, if needed, by providing the following:
Proof of inventory ownership including
- The date of purchase/packing
- Product names
- Quantity
- Full name and address of the invoice issuer and of the purchaser
- A signed packing slip with the shipment or purchase order ID if you are the manufacturer
Proof of delivery, which, for LTL or FTL shipments, will be the bill of lading showing
- The number of boxes in the shipment
- Total weight when picked up by the carrier
- An Amazon stamp confirming the shipment was received and signed for at the fulfillment center
The rest of your shipments are receiving. Your shipment may keep in Receiving status longer than expected due to the inventory need to transship from Ship fulfillment center to storage fulfillment center. Other reasons for a delayed receiving process include FC capacity/volume of inbounding shipments and any misses in following the packing/prep/labeling requirements.
Amazon is still processing your shipments. Once the FC has concluded this process, these shipments will be available for investigation.
