MCF order - buyer return without mailing label

Hello,

I have a small business that uses MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) for shipping. I'm facing an issue with processing returns for multi-channel orders. A buyer wants to return a product due to personal reasons. I have generated a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form for the customer, but he did not use the provided return mailing label to send it back. I would like to know if the fulfillment center will accept the return in this case.

If the return cannot be accepted, what could be the reasons?

If it can be accepted, how long does it typically take to relist the product?

Tatiana from Amazon here. Thank you for providing a case ID in your post. I have gone ahead and looked into it and it looks like our seller support team was able to help resolve this for you.

To reiterate the information provided them, as long as the customer included the Return Approval form inside the package, the item will be properly linked to your account and be returned to stock (as long as it isn't damaged).

If the customer did not use either the provided label or the Return Approval form, then our fulfillment center will not be able to link the product back to your account. They may decide to ship it back to the customer, but I am unable to guarantee that.
