Amazon lost my products in FBA and refunded me less than I was owed.
I sent 18 units of my product to Amazon FBA, and the system divided them into two separate shipments. One with three units and another with 15 units.
In the FBA shipment of 3 units, Amazon lost 2.
And in the FBA shipment of 15 units, they lost ALL of them.
Note: these are marble sinks, large and heavy, the kind of thing that is hard to understand, because they are not easy to lose.
But the worst part is that when I complained, Amazon wanted to reimburse me for the sinks.
They reimbursed $170.85 + $19.24, even though the products are worth $8,368.20.
It's truly absurd that customer support responds and closes the case without you being able to contest it.
They have really lost control of their warehouses.

Hello @Seller_ifWNjrOGGs3d4,
I understand your frustration regarding the lost inventory and the reimbursement discrepancy. Since you've already been in contact with support about this issue, could you please provide the Case ID number? This will allow me to review the specific details of your situation.
Kind regards,

If you cannot accept what Amazon has delt you, file complaints here, outside of Amazon.
If you believe Amazon is engaging in unfair business practices regarding inventory reimbursements, there are several formal channels where you can report your concerns. These entities are responsible for investigating anti-competitive behavior, deceptive business conduct, and violations of commercial fairness, especially when they affect small businesses.
1. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) – United States
The FTC investigates complaints about unfair or deceptive practices that harm consumers and small businesses. If Amazon’s reimbursement policies are systematically undervaluing your lost inventory or failing to honor documented claims, that may fall under deceptive or unfair business conduct.
Submit a complaint at: Google FTC, report fraud
Be specific, include documentation (like denied claims, invoices, and policy references), and describe how it impacts your business.
2. State Attorney General (AG)
You can also report business-related grievances to your state's Attorney General, especially if you feel misled or financially harmed. Many AGs actively investigate large platforms on behalf of small business owners.
Locate your state AG here: Google State's Attorney General/ complaint
3. Better Business Bureau (BBB)
Though not a government agency, the BBB offers a platform to file formal complaints and may help mediate the issue. Public complaints also reflect poorly on a company’s business practices.
File a complaint: Google Better Business Bureau
