Ready to be done
Last month I had an ASIN that was flagged for a Section 3 violation. This was the second time I ever sent anything in FBA, as I typically do FBM. I have sent in all the requested docs numerous times and now it seems I am on the hamster wheel of sending in docs and still being told I need to send in docs. Anyone have any suggestions? I honestly just want to take my $$$ after the 90 days and be done as I only do this on a PT basis to supplement my income and I am a waaaaay more successful seller on other apps. The ASIN that was flagged never even sold 1 unit and when I say I send all docs, I mean all docs. I have called and can't get a clear answer as to what is missing, if anything. All my other ASIN's were fine so I am expecting to be paid, or so I think. Any who if anyone has any advice please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello kirsten kaba/J'Adore Enterprises,
Thank you for completing the video interview verification. After reviewing the information gathered in your video interview, we've decided that your seller account will stay deactivated as per section 3 of the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement. To avoid further impact to your account, continue to ship open orders and respond to customer inquiries. Funds won't be transferred to you but will stay in your account while we work with you to address this issue as per our "Funds Disbursement Eligibility Policy"
Why did this happen?
We believe your account or a related account is engaged in sales of counterfeit inventory. The violation of intellectual property rights, or the engagement in deceptive or illegal activity harms customers and our store. To learn more, refer to section 3 of the “Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement”:
How do I reactivate my account
To demonstrate the authenticity of your account and your inventory, submit the following documentation for the ASIN and brand listed at the end of this email:
-- Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders, or authorization letters from your supplier’s supplier, issued within the last 365 days
-- Bank or credit card statement. The document must include the following information: The full name of the individual or the business, residential, or business address. It must also include the information of the bank that issued the statement and the records related to the purchase of the ASIN under review.
-- Supply chain documents such as invoices and receipts that include the item's description, quantities, supplier’s name, supplier phone number, supplier address, and website. You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible.
-- Proof of delivery, bill of lading, import and export documents, customs clearance documents and authorization letters from brands and licensed brand distributors are other examples of documents that may be requested.
-- Order confirmation, order shipping, or fulfillment update documents for all the orders placed for the ASIN in question and its quantities.
Note: These documents must be authentic, unaltered and sent only in PDF, JPG, PNG or GIF format.
-- ASIN: B004K9UAKM, Quantity: 50

So you have sent them a COMMERCIAL invoice from a BRAND APPROVED wholesale distributor and a LOA from the brand authorizing you to be a retailer for them on Amazon?
Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp
" The ASIN that was flagged never even sold 1 unit "
This is meaningless -- for Amazon creating or adding your offer to an existing ASIN shows the INTENT to sell something.
@Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwasks the most important questions these days for selling on Amazon.
Here are the new rules that they are referring to --
THE AMAZON TWO STEP -- A NEW DANCE FOR SELLERS
More and more frequently Amazon is taking a TWO STEP approach and you are probably caught with not doing one of the steps (or either one!)
You are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. Amazon might ungate you for a CATEGORY, but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.
AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.
Additionally, brands that you COULD sell yesterday may be restricted today or next week. Amazon is a moving target to deal with.
DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?
If you have an LOA that specifically says you can sell on Amazon you MIGHT survive listing items.
More and more brands are providing a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK? You DO have a sales rep at the brand, don't you?
NOTE the verification is required from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT from one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products" that assures you that they are authorized.
If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.
Spend hours/days on Seller U and read the Forum to see all the really creative ways rookies and experienced sellers find to get suspended by ignoring the advice above!
https://sell.amazon.com/learn
If you don't already have the above requirements in place you are probably going to have stranded inventory and a suspended account.
For any rookies out there reading this, please take the following steps while you study so you don't end up suspended!
HINT #1 -- VACATION MODE -- NOW!
HINT #2 -- SELLER U -- NOW!
https://sell.amazon.com/learn
If you don’t want to follow the advice above, go directly to this step and save some time --
HINT #3 -- Start writing your "please help with my Section 3 suspension' letter NOW. It will save you time when you get it.
Pay attention to this recent story in the Amazon 'news' from September 25, 2024.
Sellers were given a 5 day warning that this was being put in place. Sellers have posted that LOAs are required in Europe, so you can see the handwriting on the walls -- this is coming for EVERYTHING on Amazon eventually!
"Updates to listing products with compliance requirements, effective September 30, 2024"

So you submitted a LoA showing that you were approved to sell ON AMAZON and were still rejected?
In that case, I would suggest contacting your sales/account rep at the company and ask if they can do anything from their end; might be a "whitelist" that you've not made it on to yet; or perhaps they can contact Amazon directly since you are an authorized seller here.
