Cannot see the balance I owe without adding a payment method.
I have been dealing with for so long now. I tried to start a store a few years ago but didn't end up selling anything. I think I may have sold a cup. Anyhow, I removed my listings and thought that was the end of it. Now Ive learned while trying to shop for myself on the marketplace that I have a balance. Amazon randomly start charging any payment card i use to shop with for $10. Sometimes it goes through but mostly I keep it locked. I cant see the balance on my seller account and when I tried the chat method they refused to tell me unless I give them a card. This is ridiculous. If I owe something. tell me the balance. Why is it a secret. Seems deceptive. Is there any way I can find out my balance before I fork over my bank information? Seems like a simple ask. Not sure why such a large company like amazon is behaving so predatory. Seems like instead of taking nickels and dimes in such a sneaky way, they would want to resolve the balance in full if there's nothing to hide. Any suggestions? I just moved and have a ton of stuff to purchase but not comfortable making purchases on the site anymore because of this.

I understand your concern about accessing your balance information. When a seller account becomes inactive, full account access, including balance information, requires completing all necessary account information. This includes adding a valid charge method.
To regain access to your account and view your balance:
- Add the requested charge method information
- Visit your Account Info page and click on "Reactivate Account"
This will trigger the reactivation process and allow you to view your complete account information.
