Account deactivated for suspected copyright image infringement
Hi all,
I've been selling on Amazon handmade for a year. I sell baby onesies and t-shirts; mostly travel, birthday shirts, and pregnancy annoucements. Absolutely nothing that is trademarked or copyrighted, I do my homework before I create my designs and list the items. I don't advertise in my listings as being part of a company or brand or anything that would be taking credit for someone else's work.
2 days ago my account was deactivated, without warning, for suspected copyright infringement. There was no actual complaint, it seems some of my ASINS were swept up in amazons automated screen. I tried to appeal submitting what the copyright images and descriptions are and what my shirt designs are. I also showed screenshots of my design space where I created the designs. Anyone can see that they're nowhere close to the copyright images. However, I keep getting the same scripted response from Amazon's team in India saying that I have to submit a LOA Letter of Authorization from the brand owner...
Has anyone had a similar issue and been able to get reactivated?

Hello @Seller_SVKBWex8T7KD0,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a copyright violation.

Due to the nature of your concern, I have reached out to the appropriate teams in effort of gathering more information. I have been advised that this was due to multiple ASIN and brand concerns:
- B0DKVXL3ZN - The Grinch
- B0DKMPKB67 - The Grinch
- B0D7YNRLWS - MICKEY MOUSE
- B0D7ZD6L41 - MICKEY MOUSE
- B0D8P91X94 - MICKEY MOUSE
- B0D8PLRDR3 - MICKEY MOUSE
- B0CYR822MJ - PAW PATROL
- B0CYR78RS1 - PAW PATROL
- B0CYRBFCDB - PAW PATROL
- B0CYR16WPV - PAW PATROL
- B0CYR9GL1J - PAW PATROL
I have applied the concerned brand for each ASIN. Due to the similarity in brand attributes used in the images, we at this time can only accept a letter of authorization for the use of each of these brands in the images. Once a letter of authorization is received, the account will be eligible for reactivation. Can you advise on why these intellectual properties were used in the listing images without prior authorization? Do you have supporting documentation that you were approved by the brand to use their intellectual properties?
As noted, when you review the intellectual properties for each of these brands you will find the similarity in them, although you may have designed these items, if they hold too close of a similarity to the brand, it can be seen as a violation of their intellectual properties.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
