Taking a big hit Refunding Original Shipping Costs and Charging Us For Buyer Faulted Returns
Buyer purchased a Hallmark ornament from us. They "bought by mistake" and Amazon refunded them their shipping costs. This has happened dozens of times and we are getting beat up for paying for purchases that were "bought by mistake, no longer needed, or changed mind!" Why do I have to pay for their shipping? Am I also paying for their return shipping?? This is getting out of hand. They are returning items that they say are misrepresented, but it states in the actual description, this is an ornament. Why does Amazon penalize the people who put money in their pocket?? I have one purchase that was refunded 3 weeks ago and I still have not received it. Sounds like a scam. How do I stop getting bilked from shipping costs. It is getting ridiculous! Somebody help PLEASE! Thank you

Thanks for sharing that Order ID and details. I reviewed the transaction and see that because this was a 'buyer-faulted' return, the cost of the return shipping label was withheld from your refund amount.
If you would like to request reimbursement for the outbound shipping cost, that request can be made in the form of a SAFE-T Claim. If an order was refunded but the return was not received by you, that can also be requested through a SAFE-T Claim. Please review the below guide for information.
