1 Star Review Which is Even Not My Product
I have received a 1-star review, which is the only negative review out of 96 reviews I have received for this product in the past year. And what's even more frustrating is that the customer didn't even purchase my product. What they bought was someone else's product, not mine..
As a result, my product rating has dropped from a perfect 4.8 to 4.6, and there is nothing I can do about it.
Looking at the pictures uploaded by the customer, it is clear that they are different in color, material, and design from my product. The customer complained about a metal ring falling off the product, but my product doesn't even have any metal parts.
The order shows "Verified Purchase," so it's highly likely that the customer mistakenly reviewed my product instead of another seller's. The customer mentioned in the review that they tried to contact the seller but received no response, but the truth is that I have never received any messages from this customer. On the contrary, I have contacted the customer three times through Amazon, explaining that they might have reviewed the wrong seller, but I never received a response.
I have contacted Amazon customer service more than 10 times regarding this issue within the past two weeks, but their response has always been, "We read the review and did not find that it qualifies for removal for violating our Community Guidelines. We encourage our customers to give their honest feedback, whether positive or negative, about the products sold on our site." In my repeated interactions with Amazon customer service, my patience has been exhausted. I am extremely disappointed in Amazon's behavior of pretending to care about customer experience while actually only caring about making their own job easier and clocking out on time.
As a new seller on Amazon for less than a year, after hundreds of communications with Amazon customer service, my perception of Amazon has changed significantly. I used to believe that it was a fair platform, but now it seems that Amazon is indifferent to the legitimate rights of sellers. When sellers are treated unfairly, they can only rely on themselves. It is crucial for Amazon sellers to maintain a calm mindset, and for who has a heart problem - stay away from the Amazon industry!
By the way, considering how popular AI like ChatGPT has become, Amazon could consider using AI to replace its customer service team. To be honest, there wouldn't be much difference,maybe even better considering AI don't repeat themselves anymore nowadays.
