Need Review for Fba Fee for Multiple items packed and despatched in single box
Amazon normally charge 2 types fee when the item is sold.
1. Seller fee ( Commission)
2. FBA fee ( Postage and Packaging cost)
Its fair enough for amazon to charge relevant Fba fee on single item packed and postage in single envelope or box . However when customer order is packed and despatched in single box for more than 1 item shouldn't amazon pass the fba savings to sellers?
Example: Earbuds fba cost including vat is about £3.66 for 1 item .
Customer buys 2 Earbuds
Amazon post both earbuds in one box instead of boxes. It means reduced postage and packing cost for amazon.
But amazon will charge to the seller £3.66 + £3.66
Do you think is it fair? Shouldn't they charge at least reduced fee?

They never have done this. And unless amazon start to take the approach of a turkey voting for christmas - I can't see them doing so anytime soon, unless FBA sellers vote with their feet and move their offers over to FBM.

The only way of working around this with FBA I'm afraid is to create a variation listing of a double pack which is then cheaper because they are buying two units with the single carriage charge priced in.
