Opening 2nd Amazon Seller Account
hello all, Im looking to open a new seller account. I have 1 account that I previously used that has an outstanding Amazon loan tied to it. Will Amazon allow me to create a 2nd account even though the first account has an outstanding loan? I would like to use the same address and name on the new account but a different LLC (EIN).
Thanks in advance

Sellers may -- if necessary -- open a second selling account. But only if the first account is in good standing. I do not think an outstanding balance qualifies as being in good standing. Any such attempt would result in more trouble than you currently have.

Hi there, my name is CR and wanted to hop in here quickly to provide you with some additional information to support what fellow community member @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blprovides above.
Examples of a legitimate business justification include:
- You own multiple brands and maintain separate businesses for each
- You manufacture products for two distinct and separate companies
- You are recruited for an Amazon program that requires separate accounts
Watch the video below to learn more about the multiple account policy: Comply with Amazon's Multiple Account Policy.
In your instance, I don't believe you would qualify for a second account given the information you've provided and could end up causing your more issues. Should you have additional questions, I'd recommend contacting Seller Support by following this link and being as specific and thorough as possible in what you are hoping to accomplish and why.
