From Amazon China warehouse to US FBA or AWD center by Using Amazon Global Logistics (AGL)

The company is based in Korea.
If we send the cargos to the Amazon warehouse in China, and ship the cargo to US AWD or FBA center from China, which country do they consider the item comes from? they impose a tax on the item as a Chinese product?
Does GAL shipment use a Chinese vessel?
