Manufacturer Barcode Solution
Bonjour Everyone,
I would like to have opinion or help on my issue with manufacturer barcode
I want to use manufacturer barcode for FBA but I come to an error where it says "This item isn't eligible for the manufacturer barcode because it shares the same barcode (UPC/EAN/JAN/ISBN) with another ASIN"
As from my research, there is a few situation I would like to have advice on :
Situation 1 : EAN is shared with a my product that is not in the listing, I have to search for the EAN in add product section, but I am not sure why this error occur as the product are not in my listing
Situation 2 : There is no ASIN that share EAN with that product but still the error occur
Situation 3 : EAN share with multiple ASINs, some is my product and some is not
Can anyone please advice me and share your experience on steps to have my product use manufacturer barcode as FBA?
I would really appreciate your help as this has been going on for almost a month, I have opened case with support but I dont think it is going anywhere as for now

Thank you for your questions concerning Amazon FBA Barcodes.
For a product to qualify for using manufacturer barcodes, it must meet all of the following requirements:
- It must be in new condition
- It must have a single, scannable UPC, EAN, or ISBN barcode matching a single ASIN in the Amazon catalog
- It must not be a media product: items such as books, CDs, VHS tapes, or DVDs must be labeled
- It cannot belong to any of these categories: Clothing, Jewelry, Computer components & accessories, Software, Shoes, Sports memorabilia, Watches, Videogames, Toys & Games, Consumable or topical products (such as, grocery items, skin creams, cosmetics, soaps)
- It must not be an FBA restricted product or a dangerous good
- It must not be an expiration-dated product
May you communicate the case ID that was opened with Seller Support so I can check from my side what can be done here ?
