Facing the same issue. My product weighs around 4-5kgs and in return I am receiving 10 gms battery, soap, light bulbs, etc. How can they accept return of 4kg product with this small items. If this keeps happening will be difficult to continue selling on amazon. Amazon seriously needs to look into this.

I think amazon should launch customer rating program so that we sellers can check customers order and return history. This way we seller can be cautious before dispatching the order. As a precaution we can make a videography of product packaging and dispatch process. If a customer can rate us and amazon should allow us to rate the customer. So, that customer may stop cheating.

Yes i am also facing this problem of return by buyer. Some fake customer are returning the product without any reason. Amazon should mark such buyer and should charge some amount during return or they should make amendments in their return policy. Every seller faces loss when his listing get suppressed due to these returns. I would like to request AMAZON to take in to consideration the loss and mental stress faced by your sellers due to misuse of this great online shopping platform by some fake buyers.

We sellers are safe when the person who is delivering the item shows the product before handing over the same and confirms it. Once confirmed, no exchange can be done. If this kind of policy comes, only then we sellers can breathe and make some profit.

SOLUTION on fake returns:If you are shipping through self ship or easy ship such problem may occur because Amazon can not check authenticity of your shipped product but,
if you start selling same thing through FBA, then whenever customer raise such complaints, Amazon will investigate against buyer first because Amazon itself picked, packed and shipped the item through FBA.
In such kind of investigation, buyer fails and Amazon reject the return request even block such buyers to order on Amazon further and that is called CAP investigation (CUSTOMER ABUSIVE PREVENTION) but this is only possible through FBA.
Further, in easy ship or self ship, you have to change return authorization settings from automatic to manual but that may cause A to Z claims against you so FBA is much better to protect from this kind of fraud.
