Seller Performance Phishing Email Attempt
I received an email claiming to be from Seller Performance today titled "Review Needed: Your Seller Account". The email looks fake.
I think that it's fake, but after speaking to a seller support rep on ticket 16973789971 they have continuously stated that the email is real. When I finally adhered to his instructions it sent me to a link that was blocked by my antivirus saying it's a "phishing attempt".
Can someone please look into this asap to tell me if this is real or not?

Amazon does send out emails. However, if you are not sure if it is legitimate or not, always go to your seller's account directly. Since this email references your seller performance, access your performance tab and see if there is anything on there that needs your attention. Don't trust emails as your main source of communication with Amazon regarding your seller account. An email may bring someting to your attention, but use it as just that. Don't click on any link if you are uncertain of its validity. If there is anything that needs your attention, it will be noted once you log in. Is there aything on your performance tab that requires your attention?

Do not click of anything if its not on Seller Central.
If you received an email telling you to do something on your Seller account...login to Seller Central. If Seller Central does not say the same thing, ignore the email.

Hello @Seller_wURwU1z1TmJZD
Thank you for the information provided regarding the messaging that you received. I know that the details can be concerning when the associated information looks different than what normally comes through. I do want to provide support to you to clarify on how you will want to approach this. As mentioned in the thread, most notifications or messaging will come to you in a performance notification or the message center when it relates to your account.
If you receive any messaging that you are unsure of, we do encourage contacting our team to ensure that the information actually does relate to your account. In addition, we recommend reviewing the overall account to see if you can identify the issue being referenced. If you believe that the email may be a scam, please report the issue here.
I did review the case information that you shared, and did see where our team reported that the messaging appeared to be authentic. However, I would still recommend exercising caution and not taking any action in the email unless you can confirm the issue being seen in the account. If you have any other details you would like to share, please refer back to this thread for support.
Best,
Atlas
