please create a fresh product now and during the (form) fillup process please hit the checkbox for color or material or both in the variation tab then add details in the newly added variation input field. voila, your new variation will be created.

you dont need to enter a product id just enter your sku and leave the product id blank and in product id type enter asin thats it
after filling all details just submit your listing and if it shows an error resolve it and then submit it will automatically provide the asin
