Are polybags necessary?
Hi everyone, thanks for all the guidance in this forum.
I'm about to send my first shipment to Amazon for FBA. I'm a manufacturer and I own the UPCs.
I purchased a competitor's product (ASIN: B01617T9C0) and I noticed it was shipped without a polybag. The product itself is packaged in a cardboard box (like mine) and the box was placed inside an amazon bag, easy.
Should I polybag, or follow my competitor's example?

You don't have to poly bag an item like those shoelaces. BUT, if they sit at Amazon for any length of time they are bound to get dusty. IF you think this will be of concern for your customers, then be on the cautious side and poly bag them.
