Need Advice: Transferring FBA Inventory from Poland and Czech Republic Back to Germany

Hi everybody

I am an Amazon seller looking to sell in Germany. I created my first FBA shipment and sent it to Amazon's FBA in Germany. However, I later realized that some of my products were sent by Amazon to their warehouses in Poland and the Czech Republic. My primary goal was to sell my products only in Germany, so I need help on how to get these products back to an Amazon FBA warehouse in Germany.

Does anyone have experience with this? Specifically, how does the process of transferring products from Poland and the Czech Republic back to Germany work? I am open to any information or suggestions on the cost, duration, and important points to consider for this process.

Do you mean that they were created by mistake for the markets in Poland and the Czech Republic instead of Germany?

Or that Amazon seems to have moved them to Poland and the Czech Republic on its own, but your listing is still created and active for Amazon Germany?

You can set it up in "Fulfilment by Amazon".

In "Enable inventory storage" you can set Store in Germany only. Of course, this requires additional delivery costs.

Hello @Seller_VFqhzBOdyAUqP,

Emma here from Amazon, Welcome to the Seller Forums!

I see @Seller_GCLt8e1SSSTmN already gave you the answer to find the correct FBA settings for this, thanks!

If I understand you correctly, you now still have inventory in warehouses in Poland and Czech Republic?

In order to Remove inventory from there, you could create a removal order. Please note:

"The following restrictions apply to removal orders:

  • They cannot be dispatched to another fulfillment center.
  • They cannot be used to fulfill customer orders."

Let us know if you were able to change the settings and/or remove the inventory stored outside of Germany.

Best Regards,

Emma
