Massive FBA storeage fee & Monthly Storeage fee should i switch to Seller fulfillment?

Inventory storage overage fee

-$2,011.99

Monthly inventory storage fee

-$3,546.21

Total of $5500 in monthly fee without selling any product.

My product sold for $75 and I took home $43 after FBA Fee & and shipping

That means i have to sell 150 units of product to cover the fee. NOT to mention i still have to pay for cost of my products.

I have never heard of a monthly storage fee (new in 2023?) + inventory storage fee (always been there i accepted) , Maybe FBA is no longer an option i should switch to Seller fulfillment and save myself $5500 a month?

Please let me know your thoughts and opinions, I am about to pull out my inventories from FBA.

Thank you

David

I just saw someone get hit with a 2,400 storage fee.

Pull your inventory. Be FBM only.

Once you are able to sell 50 units per month, switch back to FBA. Only send enough for 60 days at a time. (if you are selling 50 units per month send 100).

Hi @Seller_Enm101FK2XYCm,

Thank you for the post!

While I don't have insights on whether you should switch from FBA to FBM, I did want to chime in here to provide a bit more context as to why your storage fees may be looking different. During the months of October-December, storage fees do shift a bit. If you haven't done so already, I would recommend reading through the following resources for more information on this:

After reading through those resources, please let me know if you have any additional questions!

All the best,

Jameson
