Title Update Fails Repeatedly Despite Brand Registry Support – Advice Needed on Escalation
Situation:
I have several ASINs (Amazon.de) where the product titles refuse to update, despite:
- Multiple submissions via inventory files (partial and full updates) - As a brand owner, I'm allowed to submit changes.
- Deleting and relisting the ASINs with new SKUs (several times)
- Brand Registry support attempts (many times over the last 5 months)
In an attempt to edit through Seller Central, an error is shown for conflicting titles (Same ASIN on different Amazon markets could cause it when sharing the same SKU)
In all other cases, no error messages are returned, but the titles simply don't change.
For the last 5 months, a number of support cases have been created. Only in the scope of my last support case the, brand registry team tried 3 times to update the title!!!
My Concern:
Support keeps looping back to retrying the same steps, without acknowledging that this may be a backend/system-level issue. They seem unwilling or unable to escalate to the technical team, and I'm running out of options... To put it simply, I'm desperate.
My Questions:
- Has anyone experienced a similar issue where titles wouldn’t update, even with Brand Registry involved?
- How were you able to get Amazon to escalate the issue beyond first-line support?
- Are there any specific phrases or procedures that helped trigger a real technical investigation?
Any guidance would be truly appreciated. I’m at the point where normal channels are simply repeating themselves, and I fear this will never be fixed unless someone from the technical team gets involved.
