Amazon listed my size for product incorrectly now I have to delete my product listing for 24 hours

I'm trying to figure out why I have to delete my product listing for 24 hours because of a mistake Amazon made. I have a product that is an "8 ounce (Set of 1)" listed in almost every section on the product page. But, because I didn't know "size" meant again that I have to put 8 ounces as I did this already multiple times for item volume, unit count, item name and liquid volume amazon decides to take information from God knows where and put "2.67 ounce pack of 1" in this field and reflects when searching my product on the result page. It is ridiculous how many places we have to put the same information as they continue to ask for it in every way they can possibly think of. 1 or 2 sections should have sufficed.

This is confusing to customers and can be causing me to lose sales as they may think I'm selling 2.67 ounces for the price I have listed instead of saying 8 ounces as it should be.

I have a few questions, when deleting the product listing is everything deleted with it or is this backed up/saved somewhere so I don't have to add all my product detail information, A+ content, etc back just to submit a template after 24 hours for the "size" change to be corrected? Also, will I still be able to makes sales while my product listing is deleted? To me it seems like the answer is no and that, I'm NOT okay with. 24 hours worth of sales missed can make or break some of us sellers who are already having a hard time as it is.

Please tell me there's an easier way to do this? I think this is a bit absurd and such a waste of time. Any advice would be of great help at this point. I can't wrap my head around this 24 hour deletion they're saying needs to be done.

Thank you

Hello @Seller_BmrlsegBTxsJw,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. You will find reasons why deleting and relisting can be a solution in the Listings Lounge: Why do you HAVE to Delete and relist? The answer might surprise you.

Deleting your ASIN will not affect your Product Reviews, Sales History or FBA inventory (if any) on the ASIN.

Regards,

- Manny
