Merge Amazon seller accounts/inventory, is it possible?
Long story short I have a relative who is doing some crazy numbers on Amazon but he has no idea what he's doing, he should be doing much more it's a total mess. Myself I do okay but not anywhere to close to his numbers and I've been doing this for more than a decade. I know all the ins and outs and with my help he could be doing triple just from cleaning things up, at minimum.
He wants me to come in with him as a 50/50 partner, I'm not opposed to that but it would be a bit of a mess running two different warehouses. It would benefit me greatly if we just merged businesses, for multiple reasons. He has a registered brand I do not, so even though his account is a disaster it would make more sense to put all of my inventory into his account rather than the other way around.
My questions is does anyone have experience with something like this? If it's not possible I suppose I could simply run the two businesses at his place but it would really simplify things if it was just one business. I could leave my very strong account dormant for whatever happens in the future.

No, not possible.
Advise if you like but maintain distance. Do not log into your account from relative's device, or vice-versa.
My advice: strictly hands off. You aren't enough of an Amazon Wizard to rescue someone else, and any connection between you detected by Amazon will mean if one goes down, both accounts go down.

@bookwormapril brings up a great point, as you do want to be very careful here.
Also, wanted to mention that merging global accounts is a possibility. It doesnt sound like this is what your situation is but I wanted to just incase put this information out there regarding merging across Amazon’s international stores.
