As a seller you might encounter situations, such as customer
returns or service problems, where you must issue a refund for all
or part of a customer's order.
You can process full refunds, partial refunds, or miscellaneous
adjustments for multiple orders by using either an Order
Adjustments Template or the
Manage Orders feature. If you want
to refund one or two orders, you'll find it easier to use the
Manage Orders Feature. However, when you want to refund multiple
orders at the same time, use the Order Adjustments Template.
Order Adjustments Template (a
Microsoft Excel file) from the Order Cancellation Template page,
edit the spreadsheet, save it as a tab-delimited text file, and
then upload it on the Order Adjustments page.
There are five basic steps to managing your adjustments

Click the link below to download a template. Select a
destination folder on your computer and click

After you have entered your information, you save the file.
Save your file. You might want to use a different name for
each upload, such as AdjustmentsUpload-2010-05-12 for an upload
you make on 12th May 2010.
If necessary, click the
Adjustments tab to display the adjustments worksheet that contains your

4. Upload your Adjustments file
On the Orders tab, click
Upload Order Related Files.

file; then, select the file.
The file path and file name appear in the Browse box.
The file is uploaded to Amazon.co.uk, and a status box
confirmations your file was received.
5. Review the status of your Ajustments File

view the status of your upload.
If you need to access your report later, the last 10 Uploads
are available on the
Upload Order Related Files page, in the
Review File Status and History section.
Refresh button in the bar to see the most recent
status of your upload.
After your file is processed, the
Status/Results column shows updated information, along with the

View Processing Report link to download the
associated processing report. Use this report to diagnose and
correct errors in the file you uploaded. The
