Laptop Battery: A hardware component that supplies power to a device, enabling that device to work without a power cord. Laptop batteries are often capable of powering a laptop computer for several hours depending on how much power it requires. Only lithium ion batteries are part of these certification requirements.
Laptop Charger/Power Adapter: A power supply for electronic devices. Also called an "AC adapter" or "charger," power adapters plug into a wall outlet and convert AC to a single DC voltage. Computers use multiple DC voltages, and the power adapter is the external part of the power supply for a laptop.
Mobile Phone Wall Charger: The wall charger generally has an adapter and is more efficient for charging. Most manufacturers, provide a USB cable and a wall charger with a USB port along with the cell phone. However, among these, the USB cable is not part of these certification requirements.
Mobile Phone Car Charger: A cell phone car charger is a portable device that can be connected to the car's cigarette lighter socket, which contains one or more USB connectors to charge mobile phone or tablets.
Power Bank: External mobile batteries which work on lithium-ion and are used to charge mobile phones or other electronic devices.
