Software, except full retail versions of physical software. For details, consult the guidelines to sell software. In particular, Amazon prohibits the listing of products that are made available by digital download, including "codes" that can be used to access content on other websites.
Biocidal products that lack appropriate authorization (or a valid exception) or biocidal product listings that are not compliant with advertising requirements. The biocidal products sold on Amazon.de must include in the product detail page description the biocidal registration number and the disclaimer in German language “Biozidprodukte vorsichtig verwenden. Vor Gebrauch stets Etikett und Produktinformationen lesen.” You should seek advice from appropriate government authorities before importing or selling biocidal products. Illegal and noxious plants, plant material and seeds. Certain types of plants, seeds and other plant material are prohibited or regulated to ensure they are safe for pets, humans and the environment. You should seek advice from appropriate government authorities before (a) exporting, importing, receiving or transporting such agricultural or plant material, and (b) selling seeds, as marketing regulations apply and licensing may be required. The appropriate authority is the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) in Germany.
Mixtures and substances that do not comply with CLP regulations on classification, packaging (including special packaging rules like child-resistant fastenings and tactile warnings), or labelling.

Single-use or disposable plastic products covered by Art.5 of the EU Directive 2019/904, including those made of biodegradable plastic, such as:
Cutlery (forks, knives, spoons, chopsticks and similar);
Straws (except if they are medical devices);
Beverage straws made from soft-plastic are always prohibited even if described as re-usable
Balloon sticks for consumer use, including the mechanisms of such sticks;
Food containers made of expanded polystyrene, i.e. receptacles such as boxes, used to contain food, which (a) is intended for immediate consumption, either on-the-spot or take-away, (b) is typically consumed from the receptacle, and (c) is ready to be consumed without any further preparation, such as cooking, boiling or heating, including food containers used for fast food or other meal ready for immediate consumption;
Beverage containers made of expanded polystyrene, including their caps and lids;
Cups for beverages made of expanded polystyrene, including their covers and lids.
Cotton buds and cotton swabs that have sticks made from plastic or biodegradable plastic, even if described as reusable (except if they are medical devices)
Products covered by Art.5 of the EU Directive 2019/904 made from oxo-degradable and oxo-biodegradable plastic, (including their primary packaging) even if described as re-usable
Fireworks of categories F2, F3 or F4
Products promoting illegal use. Sellers must not promote illegal or prohibited uses of their products on Amazon
Items that infringe upon an individual's privacy. Amazon holds personal privacy in the highest regard. Therefore, items that infringe upon, or have potential to infringe upon, any individual's privacy are prohibited
Listings acting wholly or mainly as advertisements, including links to third party websites and promotional messages
Products that include large quantities of magnetic balls or cubes, such as:
Food Contact Materials (such as tableware, kitchenware) manufactured from plastics to which substances have been added that are not on the union list of authorized substances under Regulation (EU) 10/2011. In particular, this restricts Food Contact Materials made out of plastic in combination with bamboo, corn starch or rice husks.
