Examples of Permitted Listings

Food is permitted as long as all ingredients are lawful and within permitted quantity or concentration limits, and it is correctly packaged, labelled and delivered. Food products must comply with all applicable EU and local regulations, including but not limited to food information and labelling regulations (such as Regulation 1169/2011/EC).
All food products offered for sale on an Amazon website must (as a minimum) be labelled in the language of that website. See the EU Regulation 1169/2011/EC on the provision of food information to consumers for further information.
Examples of Prohibited Listings
Foie gras
Frogs legs
Food containing any illegal drug or sweets designed to resemble illegal drugs
Prohibited animal products and products made from endangered or threatened species, including products containing shark, dolphin, whale, or porpoise meat or parts
Products that are adulterated or misbranded
Products that an official or governmental entity, whether national or not, has determined present an unreasonable risk of
injury or illness or that are not safe for human consumption, such as:
Beef thiophene ("3-acetyl-2,5-dimethylthiophene")
Products that contain a daily dosage of more than 1,5 mg of Germanium
Bentonite Clay
Kava kava
Jelly mini-cup sweets
Products that have passed their expiration or "use by" dates
Unauthorized novel foods, especially those in the Novel Food Catalogue of the European Commission, such as:
Miracle berry
Globe amaranth
Pueraria mirificia
Epimedium
Beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) and BHB salts/esters
Synthetic raspberry ketones

Food with any health claim not allowed under the Health Claims Regulation
Kopi Luwak Coffee unless it is synthetic or marked as produced in an animal friendly way
Bitter apricot kernels that do not have a warning present on the detail page that the consumption should be limited
Food additives that are prohibited either in all food products or in certain food products, such as:
Butane (E943a)
Isobutane (E943b)
Propane (E944)
Konjac (E425)
Brominated Vegetable Oil (BVO)
Food colours or dyes that are not listed as permitted under Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008
