Units returned by customers and received at our fulfilment centres are checked to ensure that they are in sellable condition. For an eligible unit that is otherwise sellable, except that the item requires low touch refurbishing activities such as polishing, re-adjustment or packaging before it can be sold as new, FBA will perform re-boxing, poly-bagging, shrink-wrapping, polishing or other low-touch re-adjustment activities on your eligible FBA units returned by customers to our fulfilment centres. After we successfully perform the furbishing activity on eligible units, they will be returned to your inventory in sellable, new condition.
You are enrolled in the FBA Furbishing Service by default. In your Fulfilment by Amazon settings, you can select at any time to opt in or out of the programme for one or more categories of products. When a customer returns a unit in one of the categories in the FBA Furbishing Service for which you have opted, we will review the item and determine if it is eligible for the service.
Not all products are eligible for this service and not all furbishing activities are available in every fulfilment centre. The FBA Furbishing Service will evaluate each unit on a case-by-case basis to determine whether it is suitable for the refurbishing activity available in the respective fulfilment centre.
We may modify the terms and conditions that apply to the FBA Furbishing Service at any time in accordance with the Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement.
We may terminate the FBA Furbishing Service (or your participation in the service) at any time by providing notice to you.
You may change your selected categories or discontinue your participation in the FBA Furbishing Service by changing your Fulfilment by Amazon settings. You will be removed from the service once your request has been processed.
