Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg (“Amazon Payments”) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This privacy notice describes how we collect and process your personal information through your use of our payment services provided in connection with the Selling on Amazon service offered by Amazon Services Europe SARL and Amazon Restaurants services provided by Amazon Online UK Ltd (the "Service").

Controllers of Personal Information

Amazon Payments is the “Data Controller” of personal information collected and processed for the Service, and may transfer such personal information to Amazon Payments UK Limited, which will also act as Data Controller in connection with the Service. Amazon EU SARL, Amazon Services Europe SARL and Amazon Media EU SARL, all three at 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, and Amazon Online UK Ltd, at 1 Principal Place, Worship Street, London EC2A 2FA are processors of the information collected for the Service.

What Personal Information About Users Does Amazon Payments Gather?

The information we learn from you helps us provide, personalize, and continually improve the Service. For What Purposes does Amazon Payments Process Your Personal Information?

Does Amazon Payments Share the Information It Receives?

Information about our users is an important part of our business and we are not in the business of selling it to others. Amazon Payments shares user information only as described below and with Amazon.com, Inc. and the subsidiaries Amazon.com, Inc. controls that are either subject to this Privacy Notice or follow practices at least as protective as those described in this Privacy Notice.

• Disclosure to Other Users: Depending on which payment service you use, you may need to disclose your e-mail address to other users so they can send payments to you. When you send payments your name or e-mail address may be disclosed to the intended recipient. Once a transaction is complete, this information will be displayed in the transaction list of the user receiving payment.
• Third-party Service Providers: We employ financial institutions, other companies, and individuals to perform functions on our behalf and transactions that you request or authorize. This also includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction as well as sharing information with our attorneys, auditors, and other representatives.

Transfers out of the European Economic Area. • If you do not want to receive e-mail or other communications from us, please adjust your Customer Communication Preferences in “Your Account”. You may not opt-out of receiving customer service messages related to your account or transactions or other legal notices from us.

Our Service is not intended for use by children. Only persons 18 and older are permitted to establish accounts.

How long do we keep your personal information?

We keep your personal information to enable your continued use of the Service, for as long as it is required in order to fulfil the relevant purposes described in this Privacy Notice, as may be required by law such as for anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing, tax and accounting purposes, or as otherwise communicated to you. For example, we retain your transaction history so that you can review past orders.
