European Fulfillment Network

What is the European Fulfillment Network?

The European Fulfillment Network (EFN) allows sellers with an Amazon Europe Marketplaces account who are also registered for Fulfillment by Amazon to store their inventory in their local fulfillment center, and fulfill orders coming from other European marketplaces from the same local inventory pool, maximizing the control and flexibility that sellers have over their inventory.

Can I sell my products on any (or all) of Amazon’s other European marketplaces?

Yes. Amazon-fulfilled inventory can be listed for sale on any (or all) of Amazon’s European marketplaces (UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain) using the Amazon Europe Marketplaces account. When an order from these marketplaces arrives, Amazon will fulfill the order from your inventory stored in your home marketplace through our EFN.

Note: Due to Brexit, as of January 1st 2021, Amazon is unable to fulfill FBA orders across the border between the UK and EU. To sell with FBA in both the UK and EU, you will need to send inventory to fulfilment centres in the UK and EU. Click here to learn more.

Can I sell my products on Amazon’s international marketplaces (US, Canada, Japan and China)?

Yes. However, Amazon’s European accounts do not allow sellers to sell on all Amazon’s international marketplaces. To do this, you must create an Amazon selling account under separate terms in these countries and manage the account separately from your accounts in other geographical locations.

What is the difference between FBA Export and the EFN?

When selling through EFN, sellers must localize their existing marketplace offers to other Amazon European marketplaces to allow local customers to purchase them. For example, a Germany-based customer can purchase an Italian seller’s offer listed on once the seller has registered its FBA Italian-based products on the German marketplace.

When selling with FBA Export, sellers make their Amazon marketplace offers available to EU and worldwide customers who can purchase them on the marketplace where the seller has listed their offers. For example, a Dutch-based customer can purchase a German seller’s offer on provided the seller has activated FBA Export on the German marketplace. Thus, if sellers sign up for FBA Export, their FBA products won’t be automatically listed for sale on other Amazon marketplaces.

Am I obligated to use the EFN to fulfill my international European FBA orders?

No, you can continue selling locally, with a seller account opened directly on the local European marketplace and send your inventory to an Amazon fulfillment center in that marketplace from which your orders will be fulfilled. The advantage of doing this is that the orders will be available for local fast track delivery options.

How do I register for the EFN program?

There is no separate registration process. If you are using Fulfilment by Amazon in one European marketplace, you will automatically be able to use the EFN in all other Amazon European marketplaces via your Amazon Europe Marketplaces account when your listings are uploaded to each marketplace with the same SKU and converted to Fulfilled by Amazon on each marketplace.

If you do not hold an Amazon Europe Marketplaces account, you will not be able to activate the EFN functionality; you have to open an Amazon Europe Marketplaces account under separate terms for the marketplace(s) in which you wish to sell, and manage the account and inventory separately from accounts and inventory in other locations.

How do I create offers for my Amazon-fulfilled inventory on other Amazon marketplaces to be able to use the EFN?

Using your Amazon Europe Marketplaces account, you can create offers on any of Amazon’s European marketplaces using the same process you used to create offers on your home marketplace. When you provide the same SKU for the product that you have provided in your home marketplace, your offer will be linked to the same inventory pool.

I have listings in my home marketplace and have my inventory stored in the corresponding country. Can I also view my inventory in other Amazon European marketplaces from my seller account?

Yes. Your inventory will now be visible in the five European countries. On the inventory pages for marketplaces other than your home marketplace, you will see all your inventory (stored in fulfillment centers of your home marketplace) and possibly a comment stating that this SKU is not available in the corresponding marketplace.

If I use the EFN, can I transfer my inventory to different countries?

Currently, not all sellers are eligible for this option. You can only transfer your products to distribution centers in the country of your primary marketplace. However, you can use this inventory to ship orders placed in other European marketplaces.

Will my orders be eligible for Amazon Prime with EFN?

Yes, all orders will be eligible for Amazon Prime, regardless of the marketplace.

How much does the EFN cost?

For a breakdown of the EFN fees per marketplace, refer to the Fulfillment by Amazon pricing section of our marketing site.

Note: The EFN Fulfillment Fee is no longer a surcharge. It is charged just like the domestic Fulfillment Fee.
