Important: Failure to comply with FBA product preparation requirements, safety requirements, and product restrictions may result in the refusal of inventory at the Amazon fulfillment center, disposal or return of inventory, blocking of future shipments to the fulfillment center, or charging for preparation or for noncompliance at the fulfillment center. Please share these requirements with your carrier or vendor to ensure that they are fully understood and adhered.
The following requirements apply to all LTL/FTL deliveries shipped to Amazon fulfillment centers.
Pallet Requirements
All non-small parcel shipments must be palletized.
When delivering stock to EU countries, use 800x1200 mm
Euro/CHEP.
We only accept GMA grade B or higher, 1000x1200 mm 4-way
access wood pallets or 1000x1200 mm CHEP pallets when delivering stock to UK.
-
Other pallets size can be rejected.
-
Pallet exchange is not available.
-
Pallets shipped internationally must be heat
treated to ISPM-15 standard.
-
Broken or damaged pallets are not acceptable and
may be rejected at the merchant’s expense.
Amazon fulfillment centers cannot currently accept ocean
container deliveries. In addition, floor-loaded deliveries require exceptional authorization
in advance, where Amazon's business team contacts you directly for approval and
enrollment.
Ocean container and unauthorized floor-loaded shipments
may be refused at the dock, returned to you at your expense or subject to applicable
non-compliance fees.
Note: You can send your inventory to Amazon fulfillment
centers in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain via ocean full container loads
(FCL), ocean less than container loads (LCL), and air freight with Amazon Global Logistics
as the carrier.
For more information, see Global Shipping Services.
Bill of Lading
When there are two or more orders shipping from the
same pick-up location to the same Amazon fulfillment center and the required delivery date is
the same, consolidate orders into one shipment with one Bill of Lading.
-
Bill of Lading must reference all Amazon Reference IDs (POs) contained in the shipment.
Amazon Reference IDs are found on the View an Existing Shipment
page.
-
Bill of Lading must include carton and pallet
quantities per shipment.
-
Whenever possible, the merchant should include
the Bill of Lading number on the carton or pallet label. This allows for quick freight
verification upon delivery at an Amazon fulfillment center.
-
Do not combine Amazon and other customers'
orders in the same shipment.
-
Original Bill of Lading information must be
made available to the carrier in order for the carrier to arrange advanced delivery
appointment.
Schedule Delivery Appointments

For every delivery to Amazon Fulfillment Centers, the seller or the carrier are required to request a delivery appointment no less than 24 hours ahead.
-
All booking requests must be made using the Carrier Central.

-
The carrier must deliver the quantity specified on the Carrier Central system.
-
No loads will be accepted without an advance appointment.
